I was a guest member (without pay for two weeks) at Shagaholic.com I was receiving a lot of emails from different women but I was not able to reply. Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to become a full member for two months. After paying for membership I replied to all those women who were interested in me…but no one responded. A very interesting observation I made that as soon as I paid the membership all new emails from women also stopped..makes me wonder that all those women who were writing me were just the website owners luring me to become a paid member that is why no one needs to reply to me (so called interested women). It is shame that how this website is openly committing this scam to defraud innocent people. Please do not fall for this site as I did. hope this will help potential users to save some money….

Total scam, Did the samething as Junga, had about 20 mails of all these women, got curious and paid for the trial. Replied to the mails I got, no reply. Had multiple mails from people trying to get me to sign up for a Security ID or another dating site. As soon as my 3 day trial ended, I got a bank call saying that I was about to use my Overdraft for an adult website for £90 something, I immediately cancelled the subscription and thankfully didn’t lose any of my money (apart from the trial cash)

Thanks for your story,
I was still on a 3 day trial when I read it and then went and found that they had a repeat billing subscription thing happening.
I managed to cancel it in time, about 5 pages of clicking a “Yes I want to cancel” button followed by making a phone call to complete the cancellation where they try to sell it to you all over again.

I had some profiles of women come through and pics were blokes. There nothing but scum as far as im concerned

Reply

12 SH June 2, 2012 at 2:13 am

Majority of profiles were empty and no photo’s.
Photo’s (where present) did not match with description (in one case an apparent 42 year old woman had a photo of a girl who could not have been any older than 18).
Also, geographically dispersed members all had profiles which appeared to be written by the same person.
Poor language skills and the same errors in grammar, spelling and sentence structure existed across so many users that it could not be coincidence.
No wonder no one received replies, I think the majority of “Members” are bots.
And, you have to telephone customer support to complete your account removal process!
How quaint.
Best avoided.

All the above are so correct!
Like many others, curiosity got the better of me, so I went for a 3 day trial & thought in less than 5 mins of being a full member, I’d done the right thing & not got any longer! However, thinking I could just cancel repeat billing easily was wishful thinking. After the tedious 4-5 pages of ‘are you sure, really sure, really really sure you want to cancel’ the last screen said ‘now ring customer services to complete cancellation’.
So I did. Managed to get through on the 2nd attempt, then this operator kept trying to flank me cancelling by saying she would give me a months free VIP subscription and then I’d have to call back again, at the end of that, if I wanted to cancel. I couldn’t have been more specific that I didn’t want that, I just wanted to cancel – full stop, but it just was going in. So I said ok and hung up, waited 5 mins & rang back.
I got a different operator who did exactly what I wanted this time, and emailed the cancellation confirmation & it appeared on the websites my account as ‘repeat billing cancelled’.
That was yesterday & the repeat billing would have renewed tomorrow. Not sure if I’ll wait & see or call my card company & say I think I’ve compromised my card, please give me a new acc no.
All in all, the site was full of scamming non users, who tried to get my yahoo, msn or facebook ID so’s to give me a link to their private show or whatever. I didn’t take the bait as I saw straight through it.
Summery: Don’t bother with this site or any other operated by Alcuda ltd. I’m sure the names of its websites have been mentioned above.

I signed up a few days back and paid for 3 days, lots of girls interested in me because I’m so hot ;) It was nice, it was too good to be true. All the girls were pushing to have an id check done before we “meet up” so they know I’m a “safe guy”. They were pretty keen to show me how to do it, so I suspect that is the aim of the game for them. Add to that one girl incorrectly described a local area which made me think it was all bs. Then I found this site and have now cancelled my account. I had to go through the 4-5 pages of crap and then call a number to cancel it. Only took 5 min on the phone, and they can keep my $20, well played your scamming bastard, well played.

i joined this site as a trial member, then obviously curiosoty got the better of me and i payed the subscription fee. I did talk to about 10 or so genuine girls/women :) and I DID end up meeting up with 4 of them for casual sex, 2 of which i still regularly meet up with for sex. I had fun but THE MAJORITY 98% of the site are SCAMMERS, looking to sign u up to other sites. I think i was LUCKY that i had contact with real girls in my area! MY ADVICE IS JOIN ANOTHER SITE THAT DOES NOT OPERATE UNDER AMORIX OR THERE WEBSITES!! I was lucky and it was not worth the £80 i payed for subscription!

i just managed to cancel my renewal, they have an 0800 number buried in there “contact us” section; 0800 0148 996.
follow the directions to cancel renewal/account. it will then tel you to go on the website, but if you press 0 you will be put through to an operator.
the 0800 number went through in a few seconds, the 0845 number was on hold for over 2 mins before i hung up. bastards.
if you follow the web instructions you can at least gt your customer number which you can give instead of your card details again.
hope this helps some people. There might be some real profiles on here, but many are scammers trying to get you to pay more. some may even be prozzies.

Sadly you are all correct. Shagaholic and xpress.com (another scamster site similar to Shagaholic) At first I was very tempted to go for the 3 day “trial period”. However, after reading all your comments, there’s NO WAY I’d give these charloton’s one red cent. I’ve also read other sources on the net about these people. Most of these woman are fake’s. The very few that may be for real are not worth all the headaches it takes going thru. These effin people operating out of Cypress are nothing but fraud’s and scam artits. THEY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. What self respecting woman would put herself on a site like this? Thanks again for all your comments, I didn’t pay them one cent and never will. Best of luck to all of u that paid your hard earned money. Remember what the BBB says “investigate before you invest” buyer beware! KEEP UR MONEY STAY AWAY FROM SHAGAHOLIC AND XPRESS.COM. I BELIEVE THEY’RE OPERATED BY THE SAME THIEVES IN CYPRESS. THEY’RE BILKING GUYS OF LORD KNOWS HOW MANY MILLIONS OF $$$$$. FINAL WORD’S STAY AWAY, KEEP UR HARD EARNED MONEY. Want something real? Try adultfriendfinder.com These are real people whom I’ve met up with and actually gotten laid:)

Actually got to chat to 1 person , tried to get me to apply for CRF ID , whaTever that is. Went through cancelation procedure & rang phone no.

Shagaholic, XDating & XXXDating are all shonky internet dating sites – false, deceiving and will readily fleece any amount of money from you, should you allow.
If you like spending a lot of time writing e-mails to people and getting nowhere, try XXXDating. You will to and fro in contact with the most beautiful woman on earth (named incumminswxbomb) according to the picture, who does not even exist.

I rang NSW Dept. of Fair Trading and all these three are not registered companies.

Luckily for me, I got to the stage, on Shagaholic, of paying , but my credit card was rejected because I had recently cancelled , replaced and activated it. By the Way, on Shagaholic, women will be contacting you before you even finish completing your profile.

I joined the Shagaholic site a month ago, what a bunch of scamming Bas****s. I got friendly with a few hot girls on the site and all they wanted was for me to get a dating ID before we met up. I fell for it hook line and sinker at first then realised that it was all a bloody scam. I had paid £80.00 Into an account in the Philipinnes to meet up with a girl that apparently lived near me. The money was for the accomodation”A hotel in city centre” Needless to say she didnt turn up. I had been chatting to her on Cam on MSN for a few days and nights and totally trusted her, she looked totally sweet and innocent..Bitch!!.. I managed to unsubscibe from the site without any difficulty..But boy did I learn the hard way..Women who needs them!

i was doing ok on benaughty (i think it’s was) then the wife hacked my account (she dumped me lol) and i lost the 3 months but i gave up getting it back but like i got ask to do this dating ID i said i’d email my driving licence but i did’nt trust it, anyway i’m back on normal one’s too much risk.

90+% of profiles are shams, they even use the same handles and names but change the pictures so they do a bad job at scamming even. Then they make it tricky to cancel your subscription. I thought I cancelled after intro period but low and behold they charged me another month, then I had to actually phone them. They probaly make money off the phone calls as well.

If you don’t log in for a few weeks, when you do take notice that an e-mail from a different girl has ‘randomly’ arrived every 5 days since you last logged in, but now that you are logged in the e-mails and chat request start flooding your Inbox… but strangely all attempts to respond or interact take you straight to the membership payment page – DON’T BOTHER – just be aware of the 2 obvious signs mentioned above and the fact that when you are logged in EVERYONE in your age range and area are all online at the same time as you are… what a coincidence!! Thankfully curiosity hasn’t got the better of me as y’know what, as soon as i’ve made the transaction I know what’s going to happen…

Don’t bother with these sites. I foolishly joined ‘adultfriendfinder’ and experienced the same scams. Now I am on Meetic and although I am 56 I am banging a scrumptious 32 year old black girl after three dates. So I had to buy her dinner… that was all part of the fun and this is just the latest of many enjoyable times derived from there.

I joined because as a guest member I got a ridiculous amount of contacts – literally hundreds in a few days – and got curious.

They were all fakes.

They didn’t stop coming though. Hundreds upon hundreds of fake contacts.

So I cancelled my account in time to avoid the repeat billing.

Then, yesterday, just before I was due to be billed again, they reactivated my account. Today they’d be billing me.

I’ll get in contact with my bank and stop them.

This email confirms that you have cancelled your subscription successfully
You may continue to use your account as normal until your membership expires. On this date your membership will automatically revert to Standard status, which means the facilities available to you will be restricted. You can of course, renew your membership at that point by paying again.

If you wish to see the status of your account at any time, go to my account where you are able to view your account history in full.

We hope that you have chosen to cancel because you have found somebody.

Shagaholic aims to ensure that we have a friendly and fun site, so please let us know if you need any help. Email us at admin@shagaholic.com

I couldn’t agree with you guys more. I payed for a 3 day trial which cost £18 after the trial i noticed id gone overdrawn on my bank account, and only just realised shagaholic had taken £39.99 for a months membership that i didn’t even ask for. It took me a while to realise they repeated billing. So i immediately attempted to cancel the repeat billing and after a few hours finally the email canceling came through (the above part of my comment is the email i got from shagaholic) and after canceling the repeat billing i immediately shut down my account! I just cant believe i was suckered an scammed out of £60. I have definitely learnt my lesson! I just hope thats the end of an awful site and its not going to haunt me in the future!

this website is a complete scam. i signed up for a three day subscription and quickly realised it was a scam. lots of girls messaged me offering stripteases on cam, but wanted me to sign up to other websites in order to see them. when i tried to cancel the subscription (as it would have recurred otherwise) i was forced to phone their support team. i dont have a clue how much that cost – the woman sounded american!

basically this website is a complete rip off – do not make the mistake of signing up.

Have to agree with everything that’s been said. The site itself is in on it too plus the other sites that pop up for you to join. They’re all affiliated and SHAGOHOLICS definitely has the most although other sites such as BE NAUGHTY have people doing exactly the same thing.I have some unbelievable stories, many of which I reported with the girls banned instantly and have copied conversations so I have proof as I’m making this a personal mission to get rid off these blood suckers.

Luckily I didm’t lose anymore than$50 and I’ll tell the best ways to join and cancel if you want to join in and expose these a/holes.Obviosly the pics aren’t of whoever you talk to and all ask for dating id with wanting certain amounts of money sent to the Phillipenes in some dim him ling chums name who you’ve never met to do a background check. They simply can’t get a background check done as quick as these supposed girls say. They say as soon as you give the mtcn number they’re allowed to see you.How bloody ridiculous is that, what adult in this day and age needs anyone elses permission to see someone.I have so much information gathered and so much I can tell.Anything to do with the Phillipenes is a scam.I’ve aslo said if they ean a dating id from us we have the right to see theirs and some responses were amazing, others actually provided id without having to ask.I’d also been offered that I’d get a full refund which is bs as lets just say this is real whoever does background checks to ensure we’re safe peple to meet is a business and wouldn’t do it for nothing and returb your money.
To join and stop or cancel easily there;s an option to use your mobile and anytime you want it cancelled you send a text saying STOP to their number plus then when the girls assume you have a c/card you say no,they say well how’d you join and you say by mobile. Also put a tiny amount in a prepaid visa and use that if you want to that is.There’s some legit people there although I’ve had encounters with 10 or more girls all wanting money sent through w/union and w/union needs 3 different types of id to send so just tell the girl you have no licence and then you’re unable to do the w/union transfer online.Ask then questions nicely as they’ll keep trying for a week and forget the answers to questions you asked first and tell you something different. Some claim to be from the US here on holiday yet their English is barely understandable either fiapino or some type of European. There’s lots of young hot Russian GIRLS LOOKING TO COME HERE THEN THEY’LL JUST LEAVE EVEN IF THEY DO COME.

Someone asked about if someone wanted to volunteer for an interview ,well I’m up for it I have conversations copied for proof and I’m in a w/chair which i’D LIKE TO TAKE EVEN FURTHER TO TV,CURRENT AFFAIR FOR EXAMPLE TO EXPOSE THIS.

Imagine these people doing this to someone emotionally unstable and he gets ripped then doesn’t see the girl he’d ben talking to for days and the will tell you all sorts but imagine what could go wrong, the guy may top himself,he may be so peed off at females and go take it out on some innocent girl. This is so wrong in so many ways.I don’t know what they think but seems they think any male on these sites is some idiot with heaps of money and never been with a women. They’ll start calling you babe or baby, hun, sweety etc and then 3 days later say they love you, now come of guys a girl,a nice on too who could choose who they wanted to be with tells a stranger they’ve never met they love you, what a joke.Anyway I will be back and have copied several conversations and I am making it a mission to expose these scams and put an end to them. Also remember the site and the persons username an report them, they’ll be gone that day,no doubt coming back with a new photo and u/name.No scrupels whatsoever…be careful guys cause it just aint gonna happen as they tell you it wiil..cheers and I’ll be back…doing more detective wwork sucking them in and getting my owbn back,it’s caused m so much stress and haven’t even been able to sleep.I’m used to going out with stunners and it didn’t make me think but then there were one stunner after another all wih almost the very same approach.I’ve found out they’re sitting in a big room in phillipenes or somewhere similar and have been trained to do this. Some do have good writing but most looks like a 5 year olds writing. One actually felt so bad after i’d caught her ot she went from being on holidays from California over here and was a model coming to stay 5 days she ended up telling me her photo wasn’t her and snt her real photo, all of which I have proof of.She was an ugly, not even slighty nice filapino girl who wanted 500 and at first it was 200 then she said but I’m coming for 5 days which was her offer ,I didn;’t ask that, then she got the details for w/union wrong assuming I had a licence to do it there and then online, so then she said it’s $100 more as a flight risk to which I simply said I’m not paying more than the 200 we agreed on and not long after she came good with the info she wasn’t the person in the pic.She like most are fake!!

Just say you lost your wallet don’t admit to having a licence and then you aaren’t able to pay online. Also w/union outlet require 3 different categories of id and sometimes they aren’t so easy to get so luckily that happened or I’d be down 500,it’s nothing short of prostitution but you see no one.I’m in a chair which would make for unreal interviewing and tv to ruin these scammers,it makes me wonder how much they rake in because they don’t get back to you when they say they will and they say the have to go for a while which I bet is scamming someone else at the same time the dirty things.

Play a little dumb and make sure to copy and paste conversations from yahoo or onsite and copy it into an email sent to yourself a s a record, don’t fall or the babe and hun crap and ask heaps of questions they should know the answes to along with asking for their id.The refund is bs you’ll never see that money again nor will you see whoever you’ve spoken to…I’ll be back with much more it’ got e cranky and I’m on a mission to expose…Be careful an don’t send any money to anyone, join eharmony oor some other site, you’ll get further there,i’;ve met 3 through eharmony in 2 weeks when I joined

I joined as a trial membership, within minutes 2 women, supposedly from UK and local to me, wanted to chat, but you have to pay membership. Strange think is that both women are pictured in front of houses with siding on, a US thing. Never seen a house with siding in the UK

So I’m guessing this is a scam – be careful

I could nt get through to cancel account, told bark to stop further payments and emailed Shagaholics complaints department my email and log in details. That l could not get through to cancel and to accept this as notification Of cancelation of my account, and that my bank are now looking into the legalities Of there site and what is known as entrapment. also i said they have 7 days to acnowledge my email for cancelation OF my account which is a resonable amount of time to deal with this issue.

Thought I would test your theory out, set up profile 150 hits in less than a hour made a note of all the girls who wanted to chat, and looked for them on Milfberry which is all so another scam site, found the same girls contacted them and guess what no answer from them, then one popped up with a picture of my ex, so contacted her and asked her if she were on line, she said no so, but both sites are run by the same company, I phoned my credit card company and told them, that I had lost my card so they canceled it, even though I had clicked the cancel for repeat billing it were on on the three days later, and I had a notification to say my card had been rejected.
So I believe all the comments written on here one big rip off

(Sent in via contact form on behalf of Wary Dater.)

Your captcha is not working properly. The warning bells started going off for me when immediately after creating a profile I started to receive large numbers of apparent contact requests, all from women supposedly living in my own town. The problem is that my town is tiny however, and I would know enough of the women around here by sight that simple statistics would mean I would have to recognise at least some of them by their profile photos. So, just for curiosity, I launched a second unconnected profile stating a different town. Low and behold I was again inundated by contact requests – ALL FROM THE SAME WOMEN AS MY FIRST PROFILE, AND WHO HAD MAGICALLY MOVED TO MY “NEW” TOWN. Total scam – steer well clear and definitely don’t pay them any money.

I am doing this as a public service. The general tone to the above comments is absolutely true. You get lured in by multiple emails from moderately attractive women then once you pay you get nothing but young extremely attractive women from Ghana, at least they have photos of extremely attractive women, anyway they want you to Instant Message on yahoo watch them masturbate then ask you for money for “Airtime” or to help their “Grandmum”. Shagaholics is a scam.
